As everyone know St. John Ambulance of Malaysia is going to celebrate her 100 years Service for Mankind in this year (2008). The activities planned by National Headquarter are as below:
1. International Cadet Camp
- to be held at Templer's Park
- Date: 10-16 December, 2008
2. National Review
- to be held at Dataran Merdeka from 13-14 December, 2008
- each State to send adult members and officers
3. National Exhibition
- an exhibition will be held at the National Muzium about the history of SJAM
- NHQ pleads for every division or members with historical values (e.g.photo, old uniform, badges etc) to pass to the respective State, to be passed onto NHQ. [all items will be returned]- in conjunction with the National Exhibition, the First Day Cover and Commemorative coins will be produced
4. National Blood / Organ Donation and Mass CPR
- date: pending
- all states to hold the Blood Donation and Mass CPR
- to attract more donors, free health screening and health talks will be held
5. Climb Mt Kinabalu
- to be organised by SJAM Sabah
- date: pending
- each state to send participants
- discussion being held to get cheap flight tickets
6. National Torch Run
- each state to hold the torch run, which is similar to the Olympic torch relay
