Chinese New Year Highway Emergency Ambulance Service (HEAS)

In conjunction with Chinese New Year Festival Season, SJAM will mobilize her ambulance nationwide to station at strategic location along North-South Highway and major highway to respond to any emergency during this peak season. SJAM Muar Area will have 1 ambulance station.

Ambulance Station : Toll Plaza Tangkak
Will be operational on 24th, 25th, 27th, 31st of January and 1st of February 2009
Duty shifts: 0800 - 2000, 2000 - 0800

Volunteers are encourage to on duty for HEAS. Volunteers who are interested may contact Mr Koh Chee Siang, Area Superintendent (Operation) cum Station Operating Offier at 012-673 6972.

Latest information from Chief-of-Staff (Training), Dato' Dr. Lee Hoo Teong, there will be 44 ambulances standby on highway during this period. Below are the list of ambulance standby.

Johore - 10 ambulances
Melacca - 2 ambulances
Selangor - 7 ambulances
Wilayah Persekutuan - 2 ambulances
Perak - 4 ambulances
Pulau Penang - 3 ambulances
Kedah - 3 ambulances
Perlis - 1 ambulance
Kelantan - 2 ambulances
Terrenganu - 3 ambulances
Pahang - 2 ambulances
Sabah - 5 ambulances
